Refin, one of Italy's foremost ceramic tile companies, launches an eco range of tiles, Wood² in the UK. The collection is manufactured using a mixture that combines ceramic-derived recycled material and post-consumer glass recycled from obsolete cathode ray tube TV sets. Easy to use with the look and feel of wood, the’ve shades (cotton, jute, dust, smoke and tobacco) in the Wood² collection resemble boards of textured reclaimed wood flooring. The natural veining and scratches offer a unique surface and palette for those who require a more vintage feel underfoot. These tiles are particularly useful where the look of wood is required like kitchens and bathrooms and where real wood could easily damage.
The collection is also available in a LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design certification) version, offering architects and interior designers professional credits for career development. These tiles also conform to ISO 9001 certification.
